Here it is!
These pictures appeared on Bronco6G and dis app eared seconds later. Who knows how long this Oppo post will stay up ...

Don’t hate that at all, basically a Ford Renegade.

Looks surprisingly good
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:34 |

If this is the size of that Jeep box I will be disappointed. Doesn’t matter though, I won’t buy one.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:34 |

FYI this is the B aby Bronco, not the Bronco Bronco.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:35 |

Looks like an SUV?
I hate the C-pillar, but the rest looks fine.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:36 |

Ew. What platform is this thing based on?
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:37 |
|
Looks too much like a ford explorer from the rear to me.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:38 |
|
The front isn’t bad, but the rear is very reminiscent of the Jeep Renegade like someone else mentioned. I don’t hate it overall and think it will look good with a small lift and slightly larger tires.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:39 |
|
That rear wiper is hilarious.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:40 |

Escape.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:40 |
|
I’m fairly certain it’s not complete.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:42 |
|
Thats significantly less bad then
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:42 |
|
That’s a Freelander
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:44 |
|
I think it’s closer in size to the Cherokee.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:46 |
|
It looks kind of like that is the installed blade though...
Hopefully it’s just what they had handy, seems like even with the hinge they should be able to get a little more coverage.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:49 |
|
But it looks pretty production ready. It’s likely a pre- production vehicle and not a concept.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 10:52 |
|
It’s definitely pre-production. I guess only Ford knows why it’s got a 6" wiper blade.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:04 |
|
I wonder if this is replacing the Ecosport?
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:05 |
|
It’ s basically just an gen 2 escape with a bronco grill, or as 412GTI said, A Ford Renega de...a Fordegade. It’ s a Fordegade. I t’ s alright. I would guess ecoboost 2.0, gm/ford transverse 9 speed, some type of disconnecting AWD system. Stupid big hood.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:06 |

Is the rear glass hinged ?!? How much you want to bet that they will say the two tone paint is to emulate the removable top of the big bronco?
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:07 |
|
I think it’s a Ford thing. I saw a new Navigator the other day and was baffled why it had such a tiny wiper for a large piece of glass.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:08 |
|
If this can be equipped with a manual, I may have some serious wants for it. The actual Bronco probably will be priced out of my range, but this looks to be a Renegade/Compass competitior.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:11 |
|
I’ve see that before
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:12 |
|
Yeah the full size has 6 bolt hubs
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:13 |
|
Hehehe, the new Bronco is based on Escape. There’s some good ads there that Ford won’t touch with a 100 yard pole.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:18 |
|
I hope they learned their lesson about 10 years ago when all the hinges on explorer and escape glass fell apart. May this time they wind be made of cheap aluminum
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:18 |
|
Bronco Sport.
The new Bronco is on the T6 body-on-frame
platform (new Ranger).
But your joke is still funny so I’ll allow it.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:20 |
|
I would be shocked but very happy if this came with a manual. I think it’s closer in size to the Cherokee. I also really hope they make a Trailhawk-equivalent trim level.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:22 |
|
From the pivot point to the top of the glass is the same length as the from the pivot point to the end of the wiper. I guess now we all know why it’s got a 6" wiper.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:31 |
|
I would hope they offer an FX4 package or whatever Ford calls their “off road” package these days.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:32 |

OJ played sports.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:39 |

Aw, the rear wiper has ED
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:45 |
|
There is a lot of Land Rover there...
![]() 03/09/2020 at 11:54 |

Must be a Ford thing. My parents had 2 different early 2000 Tahoe’s and both were perfect as far as the hinges on the rear glass. My mom currently drives and 11 Tahoe and I haven’t heard any complaints about the hinges either
![]() 03/09/2020 at 12:45 |

I’ve been hoping these will have a more legit AWD system with a centre diff instead of a PTO unit , both for off-road credibility and to differentiate it from the Escape. Probably wishful thinking, but it would help in my considering one to replace the WRX.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 13:02 |
|
yeah, these will for sure be PTO, not center diff. The hope, as others have said, would be the GKN twinster from the Focus RS/Rangie evoke. That has the ability to at least shift more than 50% of the torque to the rear axle.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 13:45 |
|
It really is. I like the b aby B ronco more, though.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 13:51 |
|
I don’ t like it, but I don’ t hate it. Cant wait to see the big bronco.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 13:52 |
|
PS, that color looks a lot like the Anvil color on Jeeps. Love that color
![]() 03/09/2020 at 14:15 |
|
I thought it would be a bit more retro boxy, not interested at all, just like the new Defender, it’s dead.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 14:41 |
|
Just to clarify - are you possibly confusing the Bronco Sport (the Escape-based crossover presented here ) for the Bronco (the body-on-frame SUV that we haven’t seen yet)?
![]() 03/09/2020 at 14:47 |
|
What a stupid way to name them. Let’s just put sport after everything. We did see the new Bronco, I was wondering why this looked like that.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 14:49 |
|
That would be a nifty option and would definitely help sway me - I just don’t want anything that feels too FWD. if they do offer it, I would expect it’ll only come on the FX4 or whatever the T railhawk equivalent ends up being called.
Both the Bronco and the Bronco Sport are considerations for my next DD, along with a few others that should debut soon. I’m looking forward to the reveals and details.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 14:50 |

Well, we’ve seen pieces of it but not a full shot like the ones above.
Agreed, calling it the “Bronco
![]() 03/09/2020 at 15:52 |
|
FYI this is the Baby Bronco, not the Bronco Bronco.
I hate that this is a thing that needs to be clarified. Ford really should have given it its own unique name .
![]() 03/09/2020 at 15:53 |
|
Agreed.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 19:02 |
|
That’s not a Bronco, it’s a facelifted 2009 Escape.
![]() 03/09/2020 at 19:50 |

Yeah, like Bronco II!
